Calendar Status Bar is a free Android app developed by Adel Ahmed, which displays the current day and month in the top status bar. Its simple UI offers easy-to-understand options, making it a user-friendly app. The app auto starts when the phone is rebooted, and it now supports installation to SD card.
The app provides two color options, white and green, which work on any device but blend better with different colors in the full version. The app is very small in size and has a small footprint, resulting in virtually no battery drain. Additionally, the app supports Android tablets.
The app has a limitation in Android 3.0 or above, and Android 4.0 or above, which automatically shrinks and dims status bar notifications to focus on the main activity, but the icons remain at their full size and intensity in the notification area when selected.
